Today marks the day when I finally ditched the ‘to-be’ bit of Mrs Moore-to-be and embraced my new name and marital title. It’s been a really busy year since then, I can tell you. What with starting a new job just before Easter and organising Mr Moore’s very special birthday back in July, blogging has taken something of a back seat.

But today, as we celebrate our first wedding anniversary, I find myself thinking, with great nostalgia, not just about the great day itself but about the weeks and months preceding it. And, as I revive my memories of that incredibly special and exciting period of my life, I realise just how much I enjoyed sharing my stories with you and telling you all about some of the wonderful people I met along the way.

I’ve also realised that there are many more tales in the wings just longing be told and immensely talented wedding suppliers poised to take centre-stage under the spotlight. So, the upshot of these First Anniversary deliberations is that I’ve decided to devote my every waking moment* between now and Christmas to orchestrating A Warwickshire Wedding’s comeback tour.

Join me then, over the next couple of months to hear all about knotty nuptial issues such as: wedding superstitions, theming your wedding; ways in which to preserve memories of your Big Day; how to prevent your dream wedding from turning into a nuptial nightmare; H2B sartorial splendour and ideas on how to entertain your guests throughout the proceedings so that they enjoy your Wedding Day every much as you do.  But first up, next week is a wedding day exposé . . .

*Ok, I’m using artistic licence here and what I actually mean is the occasional evening and weekend – when I find the time.
